Empower IT operations with automation, observability, and Artificial Intelligence.

Regain control of IT operations with AI that detects issues early, reduces noise, and speeds up resolution—so your team can stay focused on innovation, not firefighting.

AIOps

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

OpenText™ AI Operations Management (Operations Bridge) is a full-stack AIOps platform that helps IT teams unify data, automate monitoring and remediation, and reduce service disruptions. With built-in AI and GenAI, it cuts through noise to quickly pinpoint root causes—fast-tracking issue resolution and driving operational efficiency across multicloud and on-premises environments.

OpenTextTM AI Operations Management helps transform your IT organization from a cost function to a value creator by simplifying and automating IT operations. It can display business and IT data in rich visualizations. It offers a monitoring solution that consolidates data from existing tools. It applies automated discovery, monitoring, analytics, and remediation to data across traditional, private, public, multi cloud, and container-based infrastructure. Using this solution, you can achieve the following goals:

  • Event consolidation - You can manage events from all your domains by consolidating them in Operations Bridge Manager (OBM). This consolidated view helps your IT operators to identify the causes of IT incidents and rectify issues. You can also correlate similar events, suppress unwanted events, or promote events based on your business requirements.
  • Noise reduction - You can also get automatically correlated events in OBM. Driven by artificial intelligence (AI), automatic correlation reduces event related noise.
  • Cross domain business service driven out-of-the-box reports. You can collect metrics, topology, and events from data sources like SiteScope, Business Process Monitor, Real User Monitor, and OBM (classic and containerized) and send them to a central data lake - OPTIC Data Lake. You can view reports for resources, events, and response time reporting across server, network, and application environments using OPTIC Reporting.
  • Flexible design driven reporting - You can adjust the design of the variety of out of the box dashboards. In addition, you can also create reports over a well-defined public data schema (Data Model).

AI Operations Management provides the following capabilities:

  • Application Observability is an OpenTelemetry-based solution that collects and analyzes trace, log, and metric data from OpenTelemetry instrumented applications. Application Observability simplifies application monitoring, for both cloud-native and monolithic applications. It provides a reliable approach to collecting and analyzing telemetry data such as logs, metrics, and traces.
  • Stakeholder Dashboards give you visual information on live data using tables, charts, and widgets. You can stream real-time data from any data source. Stakeholder Dashboards can integrate with a variety of data sources and enable you to represent data in several valuable perspectives. You can create custom dashboards, near real-time dashboards, receive real-time updates, and access information from any device with a browser.
  • OPTIC Reporting provides you with all the artifacts required for IT infrastructure and event management. It consists of the following components - Reporting Content, BVD Reports, Flex Reports, and OPTIC Data Lake. It consolidates performance metrics, event metrics, and response time data into tables, graphs, and dashboards and enables you to visualize and analyze your IT environment.
  • Automatic Event Correlation provides you with all the artifacts required for event management, event consolidation, and noise reduction. This capability consists of OPTIC Data Lake. Automatic Event Correlation offers the facility to automatically correlate events coming from OBM, by analyzing patterns. This automatic event correlation (AEC) uses a machine learning algorithm to group related events into a single event and sends the correlated event back to OBM. Thus, as an operator viewing the event console in OBM, you will be able to identify key events that can solve many underlying events.
  • Agentless Monitoring enables you to gain an overview of the health, availability, and performance of a hybrid set of systems and applications deployed using Embedded Kubernetes and External Kubernetes in your infrastructure. The solution provides a single view of the health, availability, and performance metrics from multiple infrastructure monitoring solutions, such as SiteScope.
  • Synthetic Monitoring allows you to Create Business Process Management (BPM) applications and add Business Transaction Flows (BTF), Manage scripts that are used by BPM to collect application data, Create single URL monitors and Manage downtime for BPM applications.
  • Hyperscale Observability offers scalable monitoring of your AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and VMware resources. It brings with it the dynamic detection of new resources as they get added to your AWS or Azure subscription, GCP project, Kubernetes, or VMware infrastructure.
  • Anomaly Detection identifies deviations in metric data and generates corresponding events in Operations Bridge Manager (OBM). It leverages advanced dynamic baselining to establish and track the operating range of incoming metrics over time. The system computes and stores the baseline along with upper and lower baseline sleeves for each configured metric in the OPTIC Data Lake, enabling visualization and historical analysis.
